JAA memory care clients now have their own art gallery, thanks to a new activity at JAA called Opening Minds through Art (OMA). An exhibition opening was held on December 4 to rave reviews. Friends, families, and fans of the makers of this fabulous artwork enjoyed the moment, as did the artists, on hand to see their many pieces shown in public. OMA is a Scripps intergenerational art program for people living with dementia that promotes their social wellbeing and engagement, autonomy, and dignity through the experience of creative self-expression. Come by Charles Morris any time to see these beautiful works made by our OMA artists.
