Weinberg Terrace is a wonderful place to call home for older adults who want comfort, peace of mind, and occasional assistance. Our beautiful residence offers comfortable apartments and elegant common areas. We also provide individually tailored personal care services, three delicious meals each day, a full program of activities, trips, and social events, and the security of 24-hour-a-day staffing, all in the heart of Squirrel Hill.

Staff members are friendly, professional, and committed to residents’ health and well being.

Apartment Living
Weinberg Terrace has the look and feel of a stylish apartment building. Beautiful woodwork, a grand staircase, and traditional furnishings give the main entrance a nostalgic aura. The dining room, parlors, and other sitting areas are equally elegant. The building is laid out with the needs of older adults in mind, including bathroom safety bars, non-skid surfaces, and emergency pull-cords in bedrooms and bathrooms.

On the upper floors, residents have private apartments, which include a private bathroom with shower and dressing area, and a kitchen. Residents bring their own furnishings and decorations, which contributes to the homelike atmosphere. Even beloved pets, such as small dogs and cats, are welcome at Weinberg Terrace.

The mood of apartment living is further enhanced by the Terrace’s convenient location in Squirrel Hill, which gives residents the opportunity to run their own errands, take in a movie, or go out to eat for lunch. Residents also have easy access to the Jewish Community Center, and other Jewish institutions in the neighborhood.

Activities
On days when residents prefer to stay close to home, Weinberg Terrace offers a wide range of activities to residents, including interesting speakers, exercise programs, cooking demonstrations, musical performances, periodic outings, and visits from community groups of all ages.

Safe, Secure Environment
Most of all, residents and their families can rest assured that Weinberg Terrace is a safe place to live, where staff members are always available to offer help, when needed.
