DEAR FRIENDS

This past year has been one of bravery and perseverance at the Jewish Association on Aging.

We began our defense against COVID-19 at the start of the calendar year, defining 2020 as the
dawning of the Age of Coronavirus.

Each day we were preparing for battle, our staff coming to work, heroic and ready to protect our
residents. We were constantly reminded just how lucky we were to have such exceptional
people choose to be part of our JAA work family.

We were also in awe of our residents’ resilience and their families’ adaptability during a most
               difficult and challenging time.

And now, a new year brings questions about what this “new normal” will mean to all of us. We
ask you to join us as we look to the things that lift our spirits.

Something we can always count on to inspire us is art and our residents’ amazing creativity.

As you will see in this calendar, the JAA is home to an abundance of talented artists, many of
whom kept busy making masterpieces during the pandemic. Their talent and enthusiasm for
their work shows in every page. These pieces of artwork remind all of us to do and be our best
               throughout the year.

Please accept this gift of art for you, one of our many residents, families, employees, donors,
partners, and volunteers. For the diversity of those we serve, we highlight an array of holidays
and celebrations to share with the ones you love.

As we prepare to greet the Jewish Year of 5781 and soon after the American calendar year of
2021, we wish you all a time of health, prosperity, and meaningful accomplishments. We can
never know what the future holds, but with your continued partnership and support, we are
better equipped to take on whatever comes our way. L'shana Tova. Happy New Year. Please consider a contribution to JAA's Free Care
