If you are like many aging adults living independently at home, grocery shopping and meal preparation can be a challenge to you.
Mollie’s Meals is a kosher, home-delivered meal program that eases that burden when you are unable to prepare your own meals or are homebound.
The service is under the strict kashruth supervision of the Vaad Harabanim of Greater Pittsburgh.
Prepared by our professional dietary staff and approved by Allegheny Area on Aging dieticians, we are able to accommodate most special needs diets, including diabetic and soft mechanical requirements.
Thanks to our team of staff and dedicated volunteers, Mollie’s Meals provides tasty, nutritious meals to you on a regular basis. The program’s other benefits are that you get to socialize, talk with caring staff about your changing needs and ask for help or referrals to other JAA programs when those are necessary.
All of our meals are prepared in the kitchen of the Charles M. Morris Nursing and Rehabilitation Center under the supervision of a registered dietician. Staff and volunteers deliver meals on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
Delivery is available in these Pittsburgh-area neighborhoods:
- Squirrel Hill
- East End
- Parts of Monroeville
- Parts of the South Hills
