JAA is pleased to welcome Jamie Howell as the new director of Anathan Adult Day Memory Care Services. Jamie has a passion for working with people and comes to us with 27 years of experience working in intellectual disability services.
Jamie bases his work on four basic tenets: compassion, dignity, empathy, and patience. With these as driving forces, Jamie hopes to cultivate an environment tailored to the needs of the members.
Since the reopening of Anathan, Jamie has most enjoyed working and interacting with the members and their families. Jamie sees Anathan as a safe place where members are cared for and can and socialize with others, while still living with their loved ones.
“We’re providing a service that makes us happy too. It’s fulfilling for staff,” Jamie says.
Jamie has made a great addition to the JAA team and we are grateful to have his guidance and care at Anathan Adult Day Memory Care Services.
