Thanks to the youth advisory group at Pittsburgh Cares, residents at Weinberg Terrace now have new iPads to live chat with their loved ones. Pittsburgh Cares is a group of super volunteers that has not been able to visit any of our communities since mid-March. So Erin and the youth group took it upon themselves to stay in touch by providing iPads. With some training and support from George Maloney at the Terrace, residents can now connect anytime they like. No waiting in line at the administrative offices. FaceTime, Zoom, Skype or whatever software they prefer is at their fingertips. Everyone at JAA looks forward to the day when we can see visitors in person but until then, we are grateful to Pittsburgh Cares for helping us feel closer.
