Residents at Weinberg Village agained partnered with Giving It Forward Together (GIFT) and its founder Rochel Tombosky. This time we collaborated with Friendship Circle who hosted the event.
We came together and discovered how much we truly have in common and how we can support each other.
Everyone spent the day baking apple pies, honey cakes, and macaroons for a bake sale to benefit charities in our community.
Rochel, pictured here holding a pie with Susan, Faye, and Howard, provided all the accoutrements to make the event a success including the ingredients, chef hats, and aprons.
The residents who attended had a wonderful time and we thank GIFT for making it all possible.
