A Respite Stay Is Worth Considering

Monday, September 27, 2021

Some families need short-term respite stays for their loved ones who are not completely independent.  Respite stays provide care and  attention for loved ones and peace of mind for caregivers.

JAA communities offer convenient short-term options with benefits provided to long-term residents.

A respite stay can help a loved one experience all that JAA offers seniors, giving them a feel for the community and an introduction to a personal care lifestyle, amenities, and fellow seniors who reside with JAA.

Caregivers consider a respite stay  for their loved ones   when they need a break — whether for work, emergency travel, or just a much-needed breather.

Respite stays at JAA consist of no fewer than two weeks and no more than three months.  A respite admission may extend a senior’s stay in two-week increments but would not exceed three months.  After three months, a respite admission is considered permanent.
