Due to the decreased COVID positivity rate in Allegheny County, JAA has revised its PPE requirements for visitors.
New guidelines make it possible for visitors to spend time with their loved ones unmasked. This includes the option to share a meal with their loved ones.
Guests may continue to visit without making prior arrangements or appointments, depending on size of the visiting party. For larger groups, JAA asks that visitors continue to call the community in advance so JAA can expect the group.
Important things to remember with visits:
- Masks must be worn by visitors whenever they are not inside resident apartments or suites.
- Disinfecting hands and following safe distance recommendations continue as well. The space where the visit takes place determines how many people should be in the visiting party.
- All visitors must continue to sign in and out at the kiosks at building entrances.
- Visitors must refrain from entering JAA if they are not feeling well, are experiencing any COVID symptoms, or if they have been recently exposed to COVID.
JAA recommends that everyone continues to stay safe and remain diligent with regard to COVID.
Staff is excited about this development and thanks the community for their support of JAA as they respond to the unpredictability of this virus.
