FROM JAA TO YOU
There is a communications plan in place to address our many constituents and keep everyone informed of the things happening at JAA while we fight this virus. With so many ways to learn what’s new, we hope you are taking advantage of them.
Ways to get regular updates from JAA include:
Phone calls – our staff can call you with updates and you can always call them. Besides your direct contacts at JAA, there is a hotline for less urgent issues. Call any time at 412-521-5675 and leave a message. We WILL get back to you. Promise!
Email – our communities share information regularly using JAA email. Directors send emails periodically to personal care residents. Memory care families at AHAVA use LifeLoop as a means to stay in touch. If you know JAA staff members’ first and last names, all our email addresses follow the same pattern: first initial, last name @ jaapgh.org (example: [email protected]). You can always email the general information address at [email protected] too if you are not sure who you need to reach. The info email is the first step!
E-newsletter – for everyone who has provided an email address to JAA along with approval for us to use it, we send at least twice-weekly e-newsletters. These typically feature updates on what’s happening, links for more information, resources to use when navigating issues related to the virus, and ever-popular photo galleries featuring residents and staff within our JAA communities. If there is someone of whom you want to see a photo in our newsletter, email that resident’s name and community location to [email protected] and we will see if we can get those camera-shy residents to agree to a photo.
Social Media – Facebook is the social media outlet of choice for every-day updates from JAA. Follow us on Facebook and stay in the loop.
Texting – On a limited basis, our staff can connect via text as long as you provide your name and mobile phone number. Carol and Marcellina at Charles Morris are particularly good at this. We just ask that we don’t use up all their phone plans since they use their personal phones to text.
Website – JAA’s website updates its news posts regularly with valuable information for staff, families and. The items posted are dated for your convenience. The posts remain on the site and are not removed so you know you can always find what you are looking for at jaapgh.org/news
