Residents at the Jewish Association on Aging’s Charles Morris Nursing & Rehab Center in Squirrel Hill are huge sports fans. They celebrated Pirates Opening Day with a corridor party. While practicing safe distancing, and with 96-year-old keyboardist Rose W. doing her best Vince Lascheid, tapping away at “Take Me Out To The Ballgame,” everyone in Pirates gear chimed in from just outside their rooms, providing plenty of laughter and smiles to go around.
