Honey Cakes and Other Holiday Traditions

Rosh Hashanah celebrations included our second annual “Honey Cakes and Holidays” event which featured a dementia-friendly service for families and those living with Alzheimer’s disease or other forms of dementia.  We came together in JAA’s Community Room to pray, sing, and learn about the holiday. We thank Debbie Marcus and her family, Natan and Nizan, along with Heidi Leibovich and Yinon who provided the beautiful music we all enjoyed.

Later that week, we gathered for the traditional Lulav & Esrog Shake & Blessing. The New Year is always a bright and uplifting time for all of us at JAA.
