It was World Kindness Day on November 13 and Weinberg Terrace encouraged everyone wearing a cardigan to tell his or her best Mister Rogers story. A visit from the Neighborhood Trolley and stories from Natalie, Sam, Jerry, Will, Maxine, Dorothy, Harry, and Jude made this neighborhood warm and welcoming. It was also the day Leanne McDonough re-opened her hair therapy studio at the Terrace, serving residents with hair and nail care Wednesday and Thursday afternoons. And finally, we got a glimpse of the new Eva’s Pantry, where residents of Weinberg Terrace can get sundries, snacks, and smiles from our staff.
